Hygienists and Dental Therapist
Our hygiene therapists Rebecca and Roselle work on Tuesdays and Fridays and Fay works on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
You can be referred to the hygienist via the dentist or you can self refer providing you have had an examination with a dentist at the practice in the last 12 months. The main role of a hygiene visit is to give you the skills, the tools and the techniques to maintain you own oral health. The hygienists carefully remove the hard deposits that build up on the teeth (tartar) and will teach you how to prevent it reforming again. This will go a long way to slowing the progress of gum disease.
They also help to remove stains built up on teeth from coffee, tea, smoking and more!
Endodontist
BDS (Hons) (Birm), MSc (Dist) (Eastman UCL) – GDC No. 251859. Melita graduated from the University of Birmingham and worked as a general dentist in London for several years. Following this she completed her Master’s training in Endodontics (root-canal treatment) at the prestigious University College London (UCL) Eastman Dental Institute with Distinction. Melita limits her practice to Endodontics, working in different areas carrying out referred treatment. Endodontics is a speciality Melita enjoys due to its complexity and she aims to provide a pain-free experience, using the technical skills she has acquired to give the best possible result.
Dr. Melita Reel holds an MSc in Endodontics (Distinction) from the renowned Eastman Dental Hospital. She provides advanced and comprehensive care in root canal treatment, surgical endodontics, and pain diagnosis. With specialist training and a gentle, meticulous approach, Melita ensures precise, comfortable, and effective management of complex dental conditions, helping patients preserve their natural teeth and maintain long-term oral health.
We are happy to accept referrals from other dental practices via our Referrals page as well as self-referrals via our online booking system. Our team is committed to clear and timely communication after every visit, ensuring seamless care for all patients. Dr Lucy Wall qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 2017 and completed 3 years of further training as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Guy’s Hospital and St George’s Hospital, London. Lucy is passionate about ongoing education and also trains newly qualified dentists in oral surgery techniques.
